Battle the winter freeze

Friday, February 11th, 2011

The iHeater helps to keep the home warm during the cold winter monthsWhile there are many strategies to beat the frigid winter cold while outside, including dressing in layers, wearing a hat and ensuring as much skin as possible is covered to avoid prolonged exposure to the cold, keeping warm indoors is often more challenging to some people.

Instead of setting the thermostat too high and then being shocked when you receive a giant heating bill, some choose to wear heavy clothes and turn to alternate heat sources.

Some people who want to keep the rooms they're using warm and comfortable, but don't want to heat their entire homes turn to portable space heaters.

While many of these units seem like a good idea, the reality is they often only heat a small area at a time.

The iHeater, on the other hand, uses state-of-the-art infrared technology to heat up to 1,500 square feet by distributing the heat produced through the moisture in the home. This not only allows it to heat the home without drying out the air, but it also helps distribute the heat evenly throughout several rooms.

The unit features a unique quartz-coated titanium metal heating element that is rated for a longer life than the traditional glass tubes used in most infrared heaters. These tubes have a life expectancy of 60,000 hours or five years.

In addition, it stays cool to the touch, making it a safer heating alternative for homes with children and animals.

The iHeater is available in black and wood grain and can cut heating bills by 50 percent in a safe, ultra quiet and energy efficient manner.
